As I've been sitting here waiting, for what feels like eternity, for Ikea to deliver our new + wonderful sofa bed for our spare bedroom, I stumbled across this insanely gorgeous, funk-a-fied + eclectic apartment of oh so talented, Alexandra King-Lyles from The Street Where I Live. Her apartment exudes homey vibes paired with vibrant colors. The mix + match symphony of modern + boho is music to my eyes, throw in a fur + some plants + you've got yourself the perfect Eclectic Boho space. Also, her cats...love those fur babies...

TIPS + TRICKS
The eclectic bohemian is not afraid of anything, except boredom. I like to think my personal style falls more in this category than any other so, this space is very dear to my heart. The greenery in unexpected places, such as a bookshelf, adds life + excitement to a floor to ceiling unit. Furs on any surface add depth + warmth, which perfectly compliments the modern lines of the furniture. Mixing + matching tables + chairs is one of my faves, especially when it's a black + white combo.
Balance your vibrant + diverse living spaces with a more streamlined + neutral bedroom. A personal touch is what makes this space, so don't be afraid to showcase your favorite tchotchkes but, be wary of going into "old cat lady" territory + always edit yourself.
